These are my attempts at the ever-popular "do a dream card of yourself!" posts that crop up occasionally on Decipher's Dream Cards Message Board, as well as a few other cards either related to that endeavor, or that just didn't fit on one of the other pages. Following each card is a brief note about it, explaining what the card is and/or a bit of the thinking behind it. Personal Dream Cards

1/2 Human, 1/2 Vulcan Kday of Wierdness and Governor of Drek'leth'garial. Mentored by Sarek before the latter's death. Has acquired an extensive occult book collection, and a sword he dotes upon.

The EoW icon represents being a member of the Empire of Wierdness; presumably, a Flag of the Empire of Wierdness (or maybe the EmpError jeffpicard) allows us all to work together. "My Pretty" is the sword mentioned in the lore.

20th-Century human. Amateur paleontologist, fencer, sword collector, and bibliophile. Procrastinator. Suffers from wanderlust.

Half-human, half-Romulan male. Early interference in his life by the mirror Sarek has made this dark reflection of jSarek hate Vulcans, and Sarek in particular. Often pops in from the alternate universe to annoy his alter ego.

This is the mirror of my online persona. jSarek is a half-Vulcan who rejected being Vulcan until Ambassador Sarek mentored him; here, he is a half Romulan who has come to hate Sarek and Vulcans in general. jSarek's sword is called My Pretty; here, it's an axe.

John Hazlett was crucial to the United States Army's coup against duly elected President Khan Noonien Singh. Enjoys burning museums, destroying relics, and harrassing researchers. Hard worker and ladies' man.

This is the mirror of the "real" me, though placed in an interpretation of Trek's mirror universe of the same time. John Hazlett, procrastinator, loser at love, and lover of paleontology and museums is reversed here, along with a little back story tying him in with Trek, or at least a twisted history of it.
My Pretty
ArtifactAncient Jiann, or T'ai Ch'i sword, owned by jSarek. Originally purchased in the 20th Century by John Hazlett. A potent weapon and object of spirituality in the hands of either.
Plays as an Equipment card. Any jSarek and any John Hazlett (except [M] versions) are STRENGTH +2, may mortally wound one personnel they have engaged in combat, and, once per game, may nullify one non-[ref] event, interrupt, objective, or incident where present.
The aforementioned sword from both versions of me.

Mercenary who often aids the Rebel Alliance. Incredibly skilled with his overarm claw, which never leaves his arm.

Young pilot and brother of Darren Venod. Very talented mechanic and medical student. Over the whole Anise thing.

This is his brother, who I play only slightly less often; he's a little harder to fit on a card, since I went for breadth of ability with him, rather than depth.

The "monster affiliation" is mainly to keep giant radioactive monsters from hanging out in away teams with other personnel, like Spot or a Targ could. Like Borg affilation, Monster affiliation is incompatable with any other affiliation regardless of treaties or emblems; however, there are no deckbuilding restrictions on the affiliation. It has no attack restrictions; plenty of monsters fight other monsters with regularity, moreso than even the Klingons or Kazon. ;-)
